The Community Nursing Service in the Cardiff Locality delivers highly skilled nursing care to patients in their own homes and in the community setting.


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Care Support worker to join our team. We provide a comprehensive induction programme and encourage professional development and lifelong learning.


To implement prescribed plans of care under indirect supervision of the registered practitioner, assessing the effectiveness of the care provided and feedback the results.
To undertake non-nursing duties and clerical duties as required in the clinical area.

An exciting opportunity exists for a conscientious, motivated and innovative practitioner to work within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and support the Splott District Nurse Team.


You should work well as part of a team and take ownership and responsibility for providing a safe and excellent service to patients within your care.


They must also take the Health Boards beliefs and values into consideration.


Must have the ability to travel between bases in a timely manner.


English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Good standard of written and spoken English essential
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

Previous experience in hospital or health care environment
