Join us as a Regional Planner at Jackson Civil Engineering
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Regional Planner to join our Northern Region team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure project programmes are current, accurate, and consistent through regular interactions with site management and regional teams.
Main duties include:
1. Review each project programme monthly to ensure changes are captured and documented properly.
2. Proficient use of planning software, preferably Microsoft Project and ASTA.
3. Update programmes regularly to meet contractual obligations, including As Built Records and progress tracking, and review bi-weekly look-ahead programmes.
4. Review site records, contractual notices, and communication related to programme matters, ensuring contractual compliance of programme submissions.
5. Examine the Project Change register alongside ongoing works and contracts.
6. Review the Project Risk & Opportunities Register.
7. Identify and facilitate entitlement issues not previously captured by the site team.
8. Assist in protecting programme entitlement and support EOT claims.
9. Provide planning advice, including methods of construction and engineering problem-solving.
10. Support the strategic development of processes and systems with regional management.
11. Assist pre-contract teams with planning, bid strategies, and construction methods during tenders.
12. Mentor team members aiming for career progression.
Candidate requirements:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and understanding of NEC contracts.
* Site experience managing civil engineering projects, particularly in environmental, water, and flood management sectors.
* Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
