Overview
Lincoln, Louth, and Gainsborough have an exciting opportunity within our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST), based in the Gainsborough Team and supporting NHS and Education-approved sites across these areas.
Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people in educational settings with mild to moderate mental health issues.
* Help those with more severe problems access specialist services quickly.
* Support staff in education settings to identify and manage mental health and wellbeing issues.
* Work within education environments to improve access to specialist mental health services.
* Provide training and support to staff in the designated school or college setting.
* Assist schools in adopting a comprehensive approach to promoting good mental health and positive emotional wellbeing.
* Serve as a link with CAMHS; receive CBT supervision from the CBT Therapist and Supervisor, as well as other CBT-trained CAMHS professionals as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
* Appropriate qualifications and affiliation with BPS or BABCP.
* Experience in mental health support within educational settings.
* Not a trainee role.
* Access to a car or reliable transportation.
