The East of England Secure Data Environment (SDE) is a digital platform that supports secure, controlled access to depersonalised NHS patient data for research that improves public health. The post holder will be based within the Trust R&D Department.
Responsibilities
* Provide research governance and contract support to facilitate complex research across a wide range of specialties, ensuring compliance with legal and privacy standards.
* Support projects from application through to approval and contracting, ensuring projects meet SDE and research governance standards.
* Draft and review bespoke agreements for the SDE in conjunction with the R&D legal team.
* Assist with the development of the SDE, ensuring compliance with the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, UK GDPR, Data Protection Act, common law duties of confidentiality and other applicable legislation.
