Job Description
Main purpose of the job: As a L3 Infrastructure Consultant and member of the Hosting Team, you will play a key role in maintaining, evolving, and securing the customer’s infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud environments.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Infrastructure Operations & BAU Support – provide 3rd line support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and related services; perform proactive maintenance, patching, capacity management, and performance tuning across on‑prem and Azure workloads; troubleshoot incidents and provide root cause analysis through ITIL‑aligned processes; maintain configuration documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
* Azure Platform Management – design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity); collaborate with Hosting Leads and customers on Azure strategy; implement governance controls, cost management, and tagging; develop automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or IaC tools; support hybrid identity integrations; contribute to backup, DR, and monitoring design.
* Project Delivery & Service Transition – deliver projects such as server builds, migrations, automation, Azure deployments, and upgrades; collaborate with architects, service owners, and vendors; support technology refresh initiatives, maintaining N+1 standards.
Qualifications
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent.
* Strong experience in Windows Server 2016–2022 environments.
* Proficiency in Azure administration – VMs, networking, resource groups, cost management, governance.
* Experience delivering and supporting projects within Managed Services.
* Knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, virtual machine lifecycle.
* Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, certificate services.
* PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
* Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion.
* Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls, load balancers).
* Experience in ITIL‑based environments (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
* Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and documentation skills.
* Strong customer‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
