Primary Teaching Assistant – Wigan:
Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our excellent primary schools near to Wigan. You will will be required to support children 1-1 and in small groups.
The Role:
* Building rapport with parents, students and staff
* Preparing learning resources and activities
* Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
Position Details:
* Location: Wigan
* Position: Primary TA
* Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full time/Part time: Full time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: 24/02/2025
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
* Previous experience supporting children within a school setting
* Good knowledge of the general curriculum
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
