Logisnext UK, manufacturer of Mitsubishi Forklift trucks, is entering a bold and transformative chapter. We don't just sell forklift trucks; we provide tailored solutions to our customers, helping to envision their warehouses and rethink their business strategies. We're expanding our portfolio into intelligent warehouse solutions, including Automated Guided Vehicles, Pallet Racking, Conveyors, and other storage-related items.
This segment has been successfully implemented and refined in Finland, and we are now bringing it to the UK. We are assembling a team of industry-leading experts to build this from the ground up in the UK. This role offers a unique opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join this high-impact team.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our racking manufacturer and sales team to strengthen our solutions-led sales strategy. They will identify and pursue new business opportunities for racking and storage solutions, driving growth in this sector.
We seek a proactive, driven self-starter confident in engaging directly with customers and capable of bringing technical expertise to enhance our sales approach.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in technical drawing and warehouse solution design with the ability to create value-adding solutions
* A consultative, customer-focused approach to solution development
* A deep understanding of warehousing challenges and practical, value-driven solutions
* The ability to blend technical expertise with commercial insight to guide strategic customer conversations and unlock opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities for racking and storage solutions, supporting the Logisnext UK sales channels
* Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction
* Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities, translating insights into strategies
* Strategic Collaboration: Work with the Logisnext Solutions team to align goals and ensure cohesive delivery
* Sales Leadership: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to meet targets
* Performance Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership
* Team Enablement: Support and train the sales team to succeed in this new offering
