Role Overview: Secondary Tutors provide targeted support to students who require additional help in core subjects. This role involves delivering tailored lessons and fostering a positive learning environment to help learners achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver one-to-one or small group lessons in Maths and English at secondary level. Adapt lesson content and pace to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Support students in building subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence. Establish a consistent and trusting rapport to create a safe, supportive learning environment. Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals as required. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 1 years experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English at secondary level. Experience working with learners individually or in small groups. Right to work in the UK. Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check. Desirable Qualifications: PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
