Are you looking for a role where no two days are the same? As a Security Officer at Branston Building, Burton Road, Branston, Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire, D14 3EG, you’ll play acrucial role in maintaining the safety and security of both the building andthe people inside.
Thissite is a probation centre, meaning you'll regularly interact with ex-offendersand probation staff. Your presence will contribute to a safer environment andpositively impact the lives of those you encounter.
What You’ll Do:
* Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring strict adherence to security protocols.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment for all building users.
* Monitor CCTV, Access Control, and other security systems to detect and prevent security threats.
* Act as the first line of response to security incidents, system activations, and fault reports.
* Handle calls, relay messages, and provide clear guidance to staff and visitors.
* Conduct regular security patrols to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
What You Bring:
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities.
* Must be 18 or older and hold a valid SIA License.
* Excellent communication and situational awareness.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
* Due to the nature of the site, a full DBS clearance is required.
