SRG are delighted to once again be working with a specialist aerospace & defence manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire to assist in their search for a senior quality engineer to ensure product quality and compliance against regulatory and specification requirements.
Responsibilities
As senior quality engineer you will work closely with the operations, manufacturing & NPI business units to assure product quality meets internal, regulatory and customer standards and carry out internal and external audits to AS9100 standards. This role involves reviewing products and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and maximum efficiency. You will also carry out root cause analysis and corrective action against any non‑conformance. The role holder will manage the AS9100 quality management system and provide training to new and existing colleagues on the QMS and QC inspections.
Qualifications
* Certified Quality Management System auditor – AS9100
* Prior experience working to AS9100 standards
* Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing process improvement
* Industrial knowledge of the process and controls used in the manufacture of high reliability products
* Comfortable interacting with and presenting to internal & external stakeholders
Role Details
Salary up to £55,000 p/a. Full dayshift & Mon‑Fri (half day on a Friday). Permanent, full‑time position with opportunities for career development.
