Monitor fleet and delivery performance – track vehicle usage, delivery timelines, and optimize routes. Implement and maintain systems – introduce and manage Transport Management Systems (TMS) or logistics software to streamline operations. Liaise with clients and suppliers – ensure clear communication for timely pickups and deliveries. Ensure regulatory compliance – uphold safety, legal, and operational standards. Manage documentation – maintain accurate transport logs, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance reports. Identify and solve operational issues – respond promptly to delays, breakdowns, or routing problems. Support efficiency initiatives – analyze data to improve cost control, fuel efficiency, and scheduling. Coordinate team activities – supervise and support drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel. Train staff on new systems – educate team members on using new tools and technologies effectively.
