Your role and responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered Health or Social Care professional to join our Ipswich West Integrated Neighbourhood Team as an Integrated Neighbourhood Team Manager (INT Manager).

Based in the beautiful county of Suffolk, you will play a pivotal role in developing and strengthening integrated working across Health and Social Care. You will lead and manage the Integrated Neighbourhood Team and associated Connect services, helping to deliver coordinated, person-centred care within the local community.

This jointly accountable role reports to Senior Management within Adult Social Care (Ipswich and East Suffolk) and East Suffolk and North East Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT). The post is collocated at Constantine House, Ipswich and covers the West Ipswich locality.

As INT Manager, your main purpose will be to provide strong, visible leadership to the Integrated Neighbourhood Team. You will be responsible for clinical and care governance, including the setting and monitoring of standards and performance, responding to complaints, supporting staff wellbeing, supervision and development, and ensuring the effective implementation of policy and clinical guidelines.

You will also oversee the local implementation of health and care strategies, working closely with a wide range of partners including primary care, acute and specialist services, mental health services, housing, the voluntary and community sector, and care providers.

You will need

* Significant experience managing services and teams within a health and/or social care environment, including leading multi-disciplinary or integrated teams.
* Strong leadership and partnership working skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across health, social care, voluntary and community sector organisations.
* Proven ability to manage performance, quality and risk, using data and professional judgement to drive improvement and positive outcomes.
* Experience of managing and being accountable for large or complex budgets, demonstrating value for money and effective use of resources.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with staff, partners, senior leaders and external stakeholders.

Equality and diversity

We welcome applications from all individuals, especially those from groups that are currently underrepresented in the organisation, as shown in our Workforce Equality Report.

Benefits

* Up to 29 days annual leave entitlement (pro rata), plus UK bank holidays and two paid volunteering days.
* Membership of a competitive Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
* Travel, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits.
* Performance‑related annual pay progression, in addition to an annual cost‑of‑living pay increase.
* Training and encouragement to expand your knowledge.
* A variety of career development opportunities across our organisation.
* Diverse and active staff networks.
* Flexible working options, with the right to request flexible working from your first day.

Closing date

11.30pm, 10 May 2026.
