The HVAC Commercial and Industrial Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, and directing Mechanical Services (HVAC/R, Plumbing, Electrical) field activities. They will help achieve overall departmental objectives, assist with scheduling, coordinating, and supervising craft and service employees, liaise with customers and subcontractors regarding project details, scope, and specifications, and assist with Mechanical Services estimates.
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
* Assist with planning, organizing, and staffing suggestions.
* Assist with planning and supervising work activities, determining methods of construction, manpower, materials, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedules, and documenting hours worked.
* Assist with overseeing Foremen, purchasing, and stock functions.
* Monitor work quantity performed by staff and collaborate with Project Manager and President to develop standards and procedures.
* Maintain liaison and support other departments and units as required.
* Ensure compliance with safety programs, document issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Mentor Project Development Coordinators, Project Managers, and foremen.
Qualifications include:
* Valid PA driver's license
* Technical training, related experience, vo-tech training, college degree, or equivalent experience
* Minimum 5 years in construction, foremanship, or leadership roles
* Knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, safety, and reading drawings
* Knowledge of electrical codes, reviewed every 3 years
* EPA Universal Certification
* Master Plumber's License
* Supervisory ability and excellent communication skills
