An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research and Innovation Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust as a Research Nurse. As a key member of our Clinical Research Facility (CRF) Team, you’ll help deliver a diverse portfolio of research studies ranging from early‑phase trials to complex multi‑centre studies, offering children and young people access to innovative and potentially life‑changing treatments. This role is ideal for a nurse eager to deepen their understanding of clinical research and make a meaningful impact in paediatric healthcare.
About You
 * Degree or Diploma Level Education as Registered Nurse (ideally RN Child or RSCN) or Midwife Post registration work experience.
 * Awareness, understanding and appetite to support clinical research delivery across the Trust.
Responsibilities
 * Recruitment, education and monitoring of research participants and the collection and documentation of accurate data.
 * Responsible for assessing and managing the care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials.
 * Deliver skilled, independent care to research participants, including patients and healthy volunteers.
 * Coordinate patient journeys through complex clinical trials, including CTIMPs, ensuring protocol‑driven investigations and tests are organised.
