Description
* Handle daily banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Reconcile client and office accounts in compliance with regulations.
* Manage the processing of payments, including BACS and cheque transactions.
* Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
* Monitor and report on cash flow to support business operations.
* Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
* Maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Provide support to the wider accounting and finance department as needed.
Profile
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
* Previous experience in a legal cashiering or similar finance role.
* Strong understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
* A professional attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
Job Offer
