Job Description:
Pharma client based in Dublin looking to hire a Senior Medical Information Writer/Manager or Medical Information Specialist.
6-month initial contract with a high likelihood of extension.
Day rate = approximately €400+ per day if based in Ireland or £300-£350+ per day if working remotely from the UK. Flexibility depends on level of expertise and relevant experience.
Remote or hybrid work options available. (Seeking candidates based in Ireland or the UK.)

There are 2 vacancies: one for a Senior MI Specialist/Manager and another for an MI Specialist with fluent German. Both roles involve handling high-level, complex global MI requests escalated to this team.
This role involves providing expertise in specific therapeutic areas/brands to support complex medical inquiries and activities. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality responses, reviewing materials, developing digital content, optimizing processes, managing inquiries at medical congresses, and reporting metrics.
Major Accountabilities:
* Provide timely, high-quality responses to escalated medical inquiries (global scope)
* Write or review MI deliverables to meet quality standards
* Contribute to process and standards optimization for efficiency
* Generate reports on enquiry metrics and insights
* Support management of Congress Medical Information services
* Assist regional or country MI teams
Qualifications:
* Healthcare professional degree or related field
* Preferred advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in life sciences/healthcare
* Fluent in English; a second European language is preferred
Experience/Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Medical Information or Medical Affairs in pharma or related fields
* Knowledge of therapeutic areas
* Understanding of medical inquiry management and medical writing best practices
* Experience handling escalated inquiries, ideally at the highest level
* Reviewing medical/clinical content and providing feedback
* Knowledge of information resources and their effective use
* Strong understanding of medical concepts and implications in pharma
* Client focus, collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and problem-solving abilities
