Approved Mental Health Professional (Qualified)
Are you passionate about improving the lives of individuals with mental health needs? This role invites AMHPs who have completed the AMHP training course and have experience working as an AMHP.
Main duties of the job
* Work on a rota basis within the 24/7 AMHP Service, coordinating and completing Mental Health Act assessments.
* Respond to urgent social care requests out of hours in accordance with relevant legislation and under management guidance.
* Conduct assessments primarily home‑based, with travel to the county and the Lincoln Office as required.
* Collaborate with the AMHP area manager, support management team and business support staff.
Working arrangements
The role is primarily home‑based but includes travel across the county and to the Lincoln Office. It offers hybrid working arrangements and flexible shift patterns to support work/life balance, with an option for part‑time hours.

Qualifications
* Professional qualification and registration.
* Approved Mental Health Professional qualification.
Experience
* A good understanding of Safeguarding Adults, Social Care and Mental Health legislation.
* Experience of multi‑agency working.
* Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to establish strong, positive relationships across all organisational levels.
* Effective influence and motivational leadership skills.
* Understanding of commissioning processes.
