Female Night Paediatric Healthcare AssistantPay rate: £15 per hour (Weekly or Monthly pay available)Shift pattern:Monday - Sunday, waking nights 22:00pm - 8:30am and Saturday & Sunday days 11:00am - 16:00pm. The successful candidate will primarily be required to work weekend shifts as part of a rolling rota, with occasional waking night shifts as needed.We are looking for a caring, resilient and active Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Kidderminster to support a young girl who lives with her mum, younger siblings & family dog.This young girl has complex clinical needs, Epilepsy and ADHD and they rely on a consistent team who truly understand them.They like to be active, love to go swimming, likes to be outside, visiting parks, zoo's and going to the local safari park.What you'll be doingAs a Support Worker, you'll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:Providing high‑quality support on a 1:1 basisCreating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the communityEncouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeingSupporting her during seizures to ensure her safety and wellbeingWhat you'll bringA full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleExperience in seizure management and responding appropriately to medical needsConfidence working within a family home environment, including being comfortable around dogsPrevious experience supporting children in a care settingFull training will be provided and you will continue to be supported on an ongoing basis by our amazing team of local clinicians.Who we areacuity care delivers specialist support across Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Learning Disability & Autism, and Mental Health Services.
