Role Overview:
The Project Application Engineer will deliver process control system solutions to customers. This hands-on engineering role involves delivering SCADA and process control systems, covering all project phases including requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and training.
Hybrid work model – 3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with customers to define system requirements
* Design automation systems, including enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems
* Create Functional and Test Specifications
* Implement control and SCADA application software
* Perform system tests
* Assist with commissioning
* Provide technical and sales support
* Collaborate effectively with team members
* Coordinate with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers
* Mentor junior team members
* Conduct customer site visits for system start-up, commissioning, emergency restoration, training, and technical support
Qualifications and Attributes:
* Proven experience in control systems implementation and related services
* Degree in Control and Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
* Experience with SCADA systems, specifically Aveva System Platform
* Ability to develop Functional and Test Specifications
* Strong technical and business acumen
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong analytical and planning abilities
* Willingness to travel occasionally
