Overview
Equans is looking for a Plumber to join our team at Woodland View Hospital, Irvine. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Conduct routine checks and maintenance on domestic water outlets, storage tanks, and associated systems.
* Service and maintain Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Record and monitor water temperatures across various systems to maintain optimal performance.
* Perform general plumbing maintenance throughout the hospital, addressing issues promptly and efficiently.
* Ensure the hospital\'s plumbing systems comply with current water treatment legislation and Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM).
* Install and maintain plumbing and drainage systems as required.
* Enforce Equans health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Who are you?
* Recognised mechanical/plumbing apprenticeship (essential).
* Sound knowledge of mechanical building services and fault diagnosis.
* Comfortable working within a hospital or healthcare environment (desirable).
* Ability to interpret technical manuals and complete detailed documentation.
* Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
* Strong team ethic and flexible approach to support business needs.
* Willingness to undertake further training and obtain AP (Authorised Person) status (financial uplift provided for AP duties).
* Due to the nature of the contract you must be able to obtain and maintain a PVG Disclosure Scotland.
