Sanctuary manages rented and shared ownership homes and supports community initiatives for thousands of customers across England.
Salary: £15,224 - £15,695 per year (rising after 12 months subject to performance)
Full-time equivalent salary: £25,374 based on 37.5 hours per week, rising to £26,159 after 12 months of service.
About the Role
We are looking for a Residential Scheme Manager to join our Housing team which consists of Housing Officers and Scheme Managers. The role is in a Leaseholder Scheme within Homeownership.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme ensuring there are no risks to the residents or assets in the scheme.
The role offers an onsite presence and encourages residents who are either elderly or vulnerable to live as independently as possible.
This role is a live-in role as per Term of Lease with a flat provided.
Responsibilities
 * Completing compliance testing including fire alarm checks and water temperature checks
 * Reporting any hazards and supporting the repairs of these to ensure communal areas are kept free
 * Completing weekly wellbeing calls to residents who require this service and making safeguarding referrals when required
 * Referring residents to support agencies and helping them access available services
 * Dealing with low-level anti-social behaviour complaints within the scheme and resolving resident disputes
Skills & Experience
 * Experience working with older people in a support capacity and understanding their individual needs
 * Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
 * Excellent communication skills at all levels
 * Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
 * Experience of resident involvement and community care values is an advantage
 * Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
 * Occasional travel may be required; a full valid driving licence is essential
