This position offers the chance to work on various commercial heating systems and have a significant impact on client satisfaction.
You will perform scheduled maintenance, annual servicing, fault diagnosis, and rectification on various commercial heating systems (boilers, burners, warm air heaters). Responsibilities include installations, completing Gas Safety Certificates, updating reports via PDA, and managing associated plumbing and pipework tasks. You must be available for UK-wide travel and the on-call rota (nights/weekends, with premium pay).
You - Essential Requirements
Skills & Experience
Commercial Gas safe registered with proven experience.
Excellent fault-finding skills and high standards of workmanship.
Experience with air handling/ventilation systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Clean, valid UK driver's license.
Punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Commercial Gas Qualifications
COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1
TPCP1 and TPCP1A
CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, CKR1 & CENWAT1
G3 - Unvented Hot Water Heaters
IPAF and PASMA (Essential for high-level work).
Domestic gas qualifications and LPG are desirable.
Remuneration
Pay Rate: £20.90 per hour
Guaranteed Earnings: £40,755 P.A. (35 guaranteed hours/week)
O/T Potential: Up to £45k to £55k
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.
Overtime: Paid at time and a half for daily hours exceeding 7.5.
