Job description
We’re looking for a Renewable Developments Manager to join our renewables team. Ideally, you’ll be based out of our Edinburgh or Inverness office with hybrid/flexible working available.
The renewables team sits within the Commercial Development (CD) directorate and has overall responsibility for renewable energy developments (mainly wind and hydro) on the estate which generate a significant income for FLS. This is a national team and is responsible for promoting and managing the development of schemes across the estate in ways that help achieve the Scottish Governments sustainable renewable energy targets, maximise financial returns and to promote benefits for local communities.
To be successful, you’ll have full professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS), or a commitment to achieve chartered status within 2 years. You’ll also have experience of negotiating Heads of Terms and leases within either commercial or rural estate management alongside experience in estate management or land agency with a good understanding of legal documentation and the ability to problem solve and develop practical solutions.
