We're looking for a hands-on, reliable
Operations/ Production Assistant
to join our client's busy operations team. This is a 12 month contract, 35 hours per week onsite working for a large well established and reputable market leader.
In this role, you'll help keep tools, equipment, and processes running smoothly so production can stay on track.
You'll be involved in everything from managing stock levels to supporting maintenance, working closely with different teams to solve problems and keep things moving.
What You'll Do
* Monitor and manage
stock
and manufacturing
processes
* Make sure
calibrated tools
are compliant and ready for use
* Act as the link between the
calibration
and
operations
teams
* Raise
purchase orders
* Work with
facilities and maintenance
to meet SLAs and handle new requests
* Support with
CAPEX projects
,
production ramp-ups
, and
site improvements
* Take part in or lead
improvement projects
* Help with
EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
activities
About you:
* You will have worked ideally in a manufacturing or production facility
* You will be someone who enjoys process and solving problems
* You will be a good communicator who can work with different teams
* You will be organised and able to manage multiple tasks
