An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of dedication Domestic Assistants at Broadmeadow.
Broadmeadow Registered Care Centre, in Folkestone, is a 48-bed Adult Short Stay setting, regulated by the Care Quality Commission and owned and run by Kent County Council. We offer assessment, rehabilitation and respite to adults with a physical disability and/or cognitive impairment.
Our Domestic team undertake a range of housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure we maintain a high standard of cleanliness, infection control and homely feel to our centre. We are currently looking for a part-time domestic colleague to work 18.75 hours per week. Shifts will generally fall between 07:30 - 15:00 and consist of mixed weekdays and weekends - to be agreed at interview. Candidates will have experience in a range of cleaning duties, have a basic understanding of health & safety, laundry facilities and a willingness to work towards Food Hygiene level 2 to provide occasional support to our kitchen team. A good standard of spoken and written English is required to facilitate standard report writing, communication with colleagues and people using the service.
