SALARY: Up to £58,000 pa dependent on experience
LOCATION: One Delaware Drive, Milton Keynes
HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 20% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office; however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.
HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: 35 hours per week, fixed-term contract until July 2026

We’re looking for a Business Controller to support Controlling and Commercial colleagues in steering and influencing decisions to meet company strategic targets. The primary function of the Business Controller is to work with the Controlling Business Partner and Brand Managers or Heads of Sales to maximise performance by providing stakeholders with insight, aiding decision-making processes, and supporting the organisation in balancing control with support. This specialist role will be instrumental in delivering technical implementation of sales and margin planning and pricing across multiple VWFS products and Brands/Sales channels.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Negotiate and influence senior stakeholders to produce accurate forecasting data and rationale used to model and implement plans of sales, mix and margin across VWFS products (including Planning Rounds, Budgets and monthly reforecasts).
* Build in-depth knowledge of Brand strategies through engagement with Brand/Sales Management and VW Group to support driving Brand strategies via Business Case oversight and Tactical investment initiatives.
* Conduct regular volume and margin reviews for Campaign, Wholesale & Bank processes, including development, financial insight and presentation of findings to influence pricing decisions.
* Ensure integrity of financial reporting data while providing financial and technical insight, including financial modelling to influence senior stakeholder decisions.
* Assist with other Planning or Pricing activities as required by the Controlling Business Partner, including other Commercial products or emerging lines.

Essential Experience & Skills
* Strong Controlling and/or Business Partnering experience
* Experience of budgeting and forecasting discussions and analysis
* Advanced Excel skills
* Proactive with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and demands
* Presentation experience to communicate complex issues up to Board level
* Excellent numeric and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to provide accurate data in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of stakeholder requirements, particularly Senior Management
