Account Manager / Business Development Manager
Rural Crowborough, Driver required.
£30, - £35, per annum + Bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage incoming sales calls, orders and enquires from existing clients.
2. Execute the sales process efficiently and professionally to existing clients and grow accounts by introducing new product ranges to expand sales.
3. Managing a portfolio of existing clients and action quartely calls and half year reviews and an annual site visit to build relationships and ensure the best possible service.
4. Managing new business calls and identify possible new clients to grow business portfolio.
5. Set and manage client expectations regarding product availability, costs, and timelines.
6. Liaise with suppliers and team members to resolve queries.
7. Offer tailored solutions that meet customer requirements in terms of application and budget.
8. Assist with technical enquiries under the guidance of the Managing Director.
9. Understand and implement our pricing policy accurately and consistently.
What We're Looking For:
10. 3+ years of account management or sales experience in a B2B role.
11. Experience selling a diverse product portfolio.
12. Desirable - a background within food / packaging or FMCG
13. Proven track record of growing existing accounts and achieving KPIs.
14. Familiarity with structured sales processes and proposal development.
15. Experience with CRM systems for opportunity management and account oversight.
16. Strong communication skills - phone, emails and face to face.
17. Ability to build lasting relationships with procurement and contract managers.
18. Comprehensive understanding of product information to guide customers effectively.
19. Excellent sales skills: rapport building, questioning, objection handling, and closing.
20. Strong numerical skills with a good commercial understanding.
21. Initiative to work independently while also collaborating within a team.
