We are looking for an experienced Financial Crime Team Leader to lead our UK and US analyst teams. In this key role, you will drive our mission to protect customers and stay ahead of financial crime. You will manage the team, empower analysts, maintain high quality, and ensure compliance with risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a high‑performing team of Financial Crime Analysts across the UK and US, fostering professional growth through coaching and a culture of investigative rigor.
* Conduct regular reviews of team decisions and documentation, ensuring technical soundness and alignment with our risk appetite.
* Manage global workflows and resources, meeting internal SLAs while maintaining quality and detail.
* Champion continuous improvement, enabling the team to identify and implement process enhancements.
* Act as the final authority on complex SME investigations, making decisive, risk‑based calls on challenging cases.
* Leverage technology to automate manual tasks, enhancing risk management and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
* Experienced Financial Crime Team Leader with expertise in the full Customer Lifecycle, especially in CDD/EDD and Beneficial Ownership for corporate entities, plus transaction monitoring oversight.
* Adaptable, pragmatic leader with a hands‑on, solutions‑driven approach to problem solving.
* Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
* Analytical thinker skilled in interpreting complex data and driving evidence‑based decision‑making.
