The Role
We're looking for a talented
Software Engineer
to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business in the
Huddersfield
area.
You'll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimising in-house software systems that support design, production, and data management across the business.
About You
Minimum
2-3 years' experience
in a software engineering or development role
Proficient in one or more programming languages such as
C#, .NET, Java, or Python
Strong understanding of databases, APIs, and version control systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience within the
manufacturing or production sector
is
highly desirable
Based in the
UK
and eligible to work without sponsorship
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications to improve internal systems and workflows
Collaborate with production, design, and operational teams to gather and define requirements
Develop integrations between business systems to streamline data flow
Maintain and improve existing codebases to ensure reliability and scalability
Test, troubleshoot, and document software solutions to maintain high performance and security standards
