Skills To cover a period of maternity leave, we are looking for a enthusiastic dietitian who wishes to further develop their skills whilst working within the specialities of Oncology and the Home Enteral Feeding team, whilst supporting: all dietetic aspects of oncology and haematology care including inpatient and outpatient areas who are under the care of UHNM Nutrition and Dietetics. a caseload for Home Enterally fed patients, in nursing homes as part of UHNM Nutrition and Dietetics. Deliver dietetic services to oncology/haematology patients, using a wide range of appropriate and sensitive communication skills and counselling, and behaviour change techniques. To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team providing dietetic input to patients with cancer and support a range of adult patients requiring Home enteral Feeding. To liaise with other disciplines and agencies as required in the planning and implementation of patient care. To educate patients and their relatives / carers about their condition and its significance and ensure that care information and support is available.
