Scale 3 Teaching Assistant
Fixed term – until July 2026 in the first instance
Start date: Monday 3rd October 2025 (after half term)
27.33 hours per week, term time only
£13.26 per hour pro rota
Are you an enthusiastic, hardworking and high-quality teaching assistant? If so, you may be just the person to join our supportive and friendly team at our wonderful school!
We wish to appoint a caring and enthusiastic team member to join our dedicated, committed and hard-working staff. The successful candidate will be working in Year 5 for the remainder of this academic year; however, we are looking for an individual who has experience across the key stages.
We are looking for someone who:
* enjoys making a difference to children’s learning
* is committed to safeguarding children
* enjoys working as part of a team
* is able to motivate and inspire, supporting and promoting the vision and ethos of the school
* has a passion for securing the best outcomes for children
* is able to support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons as well as daily administrative jobs
* is happy to work with children on a one-to-one or group basis through tailored interventions e.g. nurture groups, speech and language
* enjoys working with children with a variety of needs
* is creative, flexible and has a sense of humour
* enjoys working with supportive parents, governors and the wider community
* has excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish and sustain constructive relationships with children and adults
Visits
We will be running tours on Wednesday 17th September 2025 and Friday 19th September 2025 at 3:45pm (please call the office on 01952 387720 to book a place on this tour). Though tours are not essential, we do strongly encourage them.
