Job Description Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £32000 dependent on experience pro rata
About the Role
My client is a growing property maintenance and facilities support company looking for organised and proactive Coordinators to join their team.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you’ll work closely with engineers, managers, and property professionals to ensure maintenance works are delivered efficiently and clients receive clear, timely communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Schedule and coordinate engineers for reactive maintenance, servicing, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
2. Act as a central point of communication between engineers, clients, and internal teams
3. Monitor and manage open jobs to ensure timely completion
4. Review engineer reports and issue completion updates to clients
5. Arrange return visits where follow-up work is required
6. Raise and track quotations (based on supervisor specifications)
7. Order materials and coordinate ongoing works
8. Maintain accurate job records and documentation
9. Support compliance, certification, and record-keeping processes
10. Handle client enquiries and provide clear progress updates
11. Assist with urgent and reactive operational demands
About You
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, reliable, and confident managing multiple priorities.
You will ideally have:
12. Experience in a coordination, scheduling, or operations support role
13. Strong organisational and time management skills
14. Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and engineers
15. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
16. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
17. Good IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook and Excel)
18. Experience with field service systems (e.g. BigChange) is advantageous
