Your New Role Supporting Adults with varying degrees of learning disabilities or mental health issues in a supported living setting within 8 homes in Cardiff To promote independence and positive outcomes Assisting individuals with day-to-day activities such as food shops or administering medication when needed Ensuring an inclusive and fair environment for a diversity of backgrounds/ situations/ abilities Adhering to personal care plans which have been drawn up after assessing the needs and goals of the placement. Adhering to strict health and safety practices to ensure the wellbeing of individuals. Building rapport and empowering people to reach their potential. Building rapport and good relationships with families Produce and maintain accurate record keeping in accordance with GDPR. Having a caring, considerate mindset with Carry out elements of personal care if required. What You’ll Need to Succeed Positive attitude to care Previous experience within an adult’s social care or transferrable skill role is desirable. Full UK driver’s license NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care is desirable, but you do have the option to work towards it. Basic understanding of human rights and safeguarding is essential. Experience working within a multi-agency environment is desirable. Self-motivation and determination to grow and succeed together.
