Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary School in Deal
Are you ready to support young learners in a welcoming and well-behaved school community? We are looking for a dedicated HLTA with strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum to join a fantastic primary school in Deal. Experience in EYFS and KS2 would be desirable, but most importantly, we need someone who is passionate about helping children thrive.
Contract: Part time – September 2025 start
Salary: £90 - £120 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support for KS1 students, ensuring they meet learning milestones.
* Lead small group interventions to boost confidence and understanding.
* Assist with lesson planning and classroom activities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support students in developing key skills for academic and personal success.
Qualifications & Skills:
* HLTA qualification or relevant experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum.
* Knowledge of EYFS and KS2 is desirable.
* Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Passion for helping students succeed.
