We have 210 wonderful school children, a 20 place nursery provision from September 2025, a committed staff team, and a strong Christian ethos that underpins everything we do. Job Details
The Role
Position: EYFS – Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: St Andrew's CE Primary School, Weald Drive, Crawley, RH10 6NU
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only, pro rata
Hours: Part-time (Monday to Friday 12:00 – 1:30) Plus occasional bank hours as required
Salary: West Sussex Grade 3 or 4, depending on qualifications and experience (plus Crawley waiting)

What You Need to Succeed
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant who:
* Has experience working with children aged 2 to 4 years in an early years or childcare setting
* Understands the needs of very young children and can support their care, play, and development
* Works well in a team and communicates effectively with both colleagues and families
* Has a calm, flexible and positive approach to their work
* Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting all children, including those with SEND
* Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or is working towards one)
