Role Overview:
We are looking for caring and dedicated
Nursery Practitioners
to join our growing team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring children are safe, happy, and developing in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education in a safe, stimulating environment.
Plan, prepare and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
Observe, track and record childrens progress using the EYFS framework.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming room environment.
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and nursery events.
Requirements:
Minimum
Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) .
Sound knowledge of the
EYFS framework
and child development.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A valid
Enhanced DBS
(or willingness to obtain one).
Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
