Whatyou’lldo:
Join our Commercial Operations & Settlements team and play a key part in managing the full trade lifecycle — from trade execution and capture, through to invoicing,settlementand cash confirmation.You’llhelp supportreal-timetrading activity, ensureaccurateP&L reporting, and contribute to a strong control environment as we continue to grow.
This placement offers broad exposure across the commercial side of the business.You’llwork closely with colleagues in Front Office, Risk,Financeand wider Operations, supporting activities across both standard and complex products. This includes trade capture, lifecycle management, static data, invoicing,settlementsand cash processes.

During your placement you will:
Trade Capture & Lifecycle
1. Capture,validateand maintain trades accurately and on time
2. Resolve lifecycle issues and provide intraday support to Front Office
3. Support onboarding of new products, structureddealsand counterparties
4. Maintainaccuratestatic data in line with Group policies
Invoicing & Settlements
5. Delivertimely,accurateinvoicing and settlement across physical OTC trades,swapsand options
6. Validate invoices and payments against contractual terms
7. Process netting statements and ensure funds move on time
8. Supportaccuratecash forecasting for Group Treasury
Controls & Continuous Improvement
9. Operate within a strong control framework and meet internal policy requirements
10. Identifyopportunities to improve processes and introduce automation
11. Help build a scalable, efficient operational platform
Stakeholder Engagement
12. Work closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Legal and Operations
13. Communicate clearly, take ownership of issues and support new business initiatives

Key Skills & Experience:
14. Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant analytical field (e.g. finance, economics, business,mathsor engineering)
15. Able tomanagemultiple priorities in afast-pacedtrading environment
16. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
17. Proactiveproblem solverwith clear, confident communication skills
18. Comfortable owning BAU and project work to tight deadlines
19. Experience with controls, staticdataor KYC
20. Analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Experience withhigh-volume, automated,process drivenenvironments, together with an understanding of accruals, invoicing and settlement processes, and the ability to quickly learn Energy Trading and Risk Management systems(e.g.Endur) and ERP/banking systems (SAP), is highly desirable. Experience in physical or financial energy markets is also beneficial but not essential for this placement.
You’llalso have adedicated business mentor, opportunities to meet senior leaders, and plenty of support to settle into your role.
