About the Team
‘Archaeology Warwickshire’ is the trading name of Warwickshire County Council’s commercial archaeology and heritage team. Formerly part of the County Museum, we have built upon our local expertise and developed an enviable reputation for quality, reliability and fairness.
About the Roles
We are looking for a skilled technician to join us for an exciting range of projects across the midlands. Based in our Warwick office, you can expect to be paid to travel to and from site, work agile contracts that allow you to take time when you need it and be eligible for outstanding training and CPD opportunities.
Senior Field Technicians – work will include assisting on a variety of excavations, evaluations and surface surveys with opportunities to assist with historic building recording, post-excavation processing and archiving.
As a member of the team you can expect opportunities to gain experience in a wide variety of heritage disciplines and to develop skills and specialisms so that you can take charge of your career. Archaeology Warwickshire run a streamlined career development scheme such that when team members demonstrate the skills of the next more senior grade they are automatically considered for promotion. Key Requirements
1. At least 6 months commercial archaeology experience and preferably including a UK recognised training programme or skills passport.
