The role offers hands-on experience across a wide range of professional and project-based surveying services.
Youll work alongside senior surveyors on everything from defect diagnosis to contract administration and new-build projects—ideal for someone looking to build a well-rounded foundation and achieve MRICS status.
Key Responsibilities Carry out building surveys, site inspections, and defect analysis Support the delivery of refurbishment, maintenance, and new-build projects Assist in preparing schedules of work, specifications, and technical reports Work with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout project delivery Contribute to contract administration and procurement processes Monitor project budgets and timelines Ensure compliance with current building regulations and health & safety standards Requirements RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying Ideally currently enrolled on your APC At least a years worth of experience in a building surveying role (including placements) Strong communication and report-writing skills Eager to progress and work towards chartered status Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team Full UK driving licence Whats on Offer Competitive salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience Structured APC support and mentorship 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, and other benefits A positive, collaborative working culture Click Apply or get in touch for a confidential conversation with Andrew Pearson at EC Property Recruitment.
