Position Overview
As a Residential Property Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in the firm's succession planning and continued growth, all while enjoying the vibrant lifestyle that comes with living along the Devon coast. You will inherit an existing caseload, including some high-net-worth matters, and help the firm maintain its reputation for excellent service.
Responsibilities
6. Manage a caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, equity release, remortgages, and shared ownership
7. Assisted by an experienced support team, you will provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the property transaction
8. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts
9. Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth and timely transactions
10. Contribute to the firm's business development and marketing efforts
Requirements
11. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 6 years' PQE
12. Proven experience managing a residential property caseload
13. Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing processes
14. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Supervisory experience is advantageous
