Overview Of The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer with experience in airfield design, to join our dynamic Transport Mobility Solutions (TMS) Division. You will develop design solutions from concepts and feasibility plans to designs for planning application and construction details, using the latest digital delivery methods.
Your primary focus will be on our airfield design projects, while supporting roads and other transportation projects when required.
Responsibilities
* Design airfield geometric solutions ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
* Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for airfield and road projects using Autodesk Civil 3D.
* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver project requirements and objectives.
* Produce detailed drawings and documentation for construction and design purposes.
* Perform quality checks on models to ensure adherence to project specifications.
Candidate Specification
Essential
* Strong knowledge of airfield geometric design standards, including RA 3500 series and ICAO Annex 14.
* Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and maintaining 3D models.
* Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience as a Civil 3D modeller, preferably in airfield design.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and other relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit).
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
