Our Huntingdon client are seeking a dedicated HGV mechanic to join their team!!
Work Life:
* 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with the option for overtime when needed.
* A typical day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Days or 6.00PM- 6:00AM Nights
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements
* Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of the fleet.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in peak condition.
* Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements:
* Experience with HGV's particularly Skania Trucks
* Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
* A can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence.
* worked as an HGV mechanic previously
