Learning Support Assistant
Milk Education are looking for an eager, ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join a Mainstream Primary School in Rotherham to work on a long-term or short-term basis commencing as soon as possible.
You’ll be hitting the ground running within a well-known Primary School, who have excellent resources to support pupils learning and a great team of friendly staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for those who are looking to kick start their career in education or for someone who has great experience looking for a new exciting challenge!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Support students with SEN inside and outside the classroom
2. Deliver catch-up sessions and approach strategies tailored to each child’s individual needs
3. Help manage classroom behaviour
4. Working with the class teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
Essential Qualifications:
5. Have recent, relevant experience working with children of the primary age range
6. Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
7. Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
8. Must have the ability to work on a 1:1/small group basis
