Teacher of PE – Maternity Cover (Harton Academy). Main Pay Scale – suitable for an ECT; start on 1 November 2025.
We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of PE to join a large experienced department. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to engage with pupils and communicate a passion for PE. Your experience will enable you to teach PE at key stages 3 and 4, and an ability to teach at key stage 4 would be advantageous. This role is suitable for an ECT. We believe this is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful, supportive and forward-looking team. The role will commence after half term, and will continue through until the end of the summer term.

Responsibilities
* Teach PE to pupils at key stages 3 and 4; ability to teach at KS4 is advantageous.
* Engage with pupils and communicate a passion for PE within a large, experienced department.
Requirements and Safeguarding
* Suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
* We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Successful applicants are required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
