We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yoga principles and practices, with the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels. This role requires excellent teaching skills, an understanding of anatomy, and the ability to coach individuals in their personal wellness journeys.
Responsibilities
* Lead engaging and informative yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants feel included and supported.
* Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate a variety of yoga styles and techniques.
* Provide individualised attention to students, offering modifications and adjustments as necessary to enhance their practice.
* Maintain a safe and clean studio environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
* Foster a positive community atmosphere by encouraging student interaction and engagement.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in yoga and wellness, continuously improving personal teaching skills through professional development opportunities.
Experience
* Previous experience in teaching yoga is essential; certification from a recognised yoga school is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to movement and physical activity is required to ensure safe practice among students.
