Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions to support our company's data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement data pipelines, architectures, and data sets using Azure.
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs.
* Optimise and maintain data systems and infrastructure.
* Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.
* Troubleshoot data-related issues and support data infrastructure.
Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
* Strong experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL).
* Proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
* Knowledge of Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Experience with big data tools and technologies is a plus.
