Overview
Aptus Utilities is looking for a Developing Project Manager to join our team in the Yorkshire area.
What you will be doing
* Responsible for a portfolio of schemes in a designated geographical area
* Dealing with all aspects of site work from the initial pre-start meeting held by the Project Delivery Manager and communicated to the Project Manager to allow multi-utility installation connections
* Pre-start with developer site agents, pre-vetting plots and mains, and communication with site agents
* Ordering materials for schemes based on approved designs
* Ordering of plant and road opening notices and traffic management for the schemes
* Managing direct and subcontract resources on site
* Team audits and quality audits to be completed on site
* Undertake measures of work on site and ensure track sheets are completed and submitted
* Ensure teams are completing as laid, check and return packs to CAD; collection of all paperwork in relation to operations work for submission to asset owners
* Liaise with water, gas and electric engineering departments to arrange necessary connections / jointing etc.
* Close out NCRs and incident reports in a timely manner as required

* Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
* Understanding of and commitment to the company values
* Evidence of interest in, and commitment to, the success of Aptus Utilities Limited
* Must be able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
* Hold Full UK driving licence
