Our client is seeking a Stores Operative (Quality) to join their team. They are an established AS9001-standard engineering company with over 40 years’ experience, specialising in precision CNC machined components. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the fast-paced, friendly Quality and Inspection team. This is a varied role that plays a key part in maintaining our high-quality standards across aerospace and precision engineering components. Key Responsibilities * Demonstrate a working understanding of AS9100 quality standards * Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of components using a range of inspection methods * Read and interpret customer drawings and technical specifications * Assist with the preparation and completion of inspection reports * Investigate rejected and non-conforming parts * Liaise with multiple departments to support inspection and quality processes * Ensure all inspection activities meet required quality standards Essential Skills and Experience * Previous experience in a similar quality or inspection role * Aerospace inspection experience is essential * Strong attention to detail and a high level of care in all tasks * Good organisational and time-management skills * Ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality work * Strong communication skills and excellent work ethic * A positive attitude with a willingness to develop skills and knowledge
