What your days will look like
* Preparation of statutory financial statements (SFS).
* Bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts.
* Manage a portfolio of clients and work on ad hoc accounting projects. Senior Associates are expected to carry out client secondments at client sites in line with business needs, where their skills and availability match client requirements.
* Apply accounting compliance knowledge to major proposals to help manage and grow the AS accounting compliance portfolio worldwide. Contribute to the development of the accounting advisory service, focusing on process improvement, technology, risk, and controls.
* Manage junior accounting staff.
This role is for you if :
* You possess an ACA or ACCA Qualification (or an international equivalent).
* You have strong accounting skills and technical knowledge of financial reporting matters.
* You have a good working knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS and some awareness of US GAAP.
* You are IT literate, with experience of accounting packages and excellent Excel skills.
* You maintain a highly professional attitude, capable of working on challenging assignments under tight deadlines.
* You are self-motivated with strong communication skills (written and oral) and can work effectively in a team.
* You demonstrate flexibility in changing client environments.
