While your primary focus will be on Music Societies outside the U.S., you will also support negotiations and strategies related to U.S.-based performing rights organizations.

* Administering contract renewals and expirations
* Providing expert rights consultation
In this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you’ll need a high degree of autonomy, organization, and discipline to manage DG’s international Music Society portfolio while supporting U.S. performing rights organization administration. A hybrid work model is essential for this role, allowing for direct interaction and collaboration across internal business units.
Your Role Accountabilities…
* Manage Music Society agreements by reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating business and legal deal terms, collaborating with local in-house and outside counsel to finalize agreements.
* Provide business and legal guidance regarding Music Society agreements to clients outside the U.S.
* Assist the VP, Legal, Music with music business affairs and legal agreements related to U.S. Music Society agreements, including data analytics for renewal fees and drafting term sheets.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience…
* Undergraduate degree required.
* Proven experience in reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating ex-U.S. Music Society agreements and tariffs.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
